Assembly Operative

We are currently looking for an experienced PCB Assembly Operator to support a busy electronics manufacturer on a short-term 3-week temporary assignment. Work could be extended beyond this into a permanent role.

The role:

• Assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs)

• Manual soldering of electronic components

• Working with SMT and/or through-hole components

• Visual inspection of completed boards

• Following work instructions, drawings, and quality standards

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area (ESD awareness)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in PCB or electronics assembly

• Confident with hand soldering (Essential)

• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Able to start immediately or at short notice

• Comfortable working in a production / bench-based environment

Desirable:

• SMT experience

• IPC awareness

• Electronics manufacturing background

This role would suit someone looking for short-term work, between contracts, or available immediately.
