Position: Food Factory Hygiene Operative/ Hygienist
Location: Lamesley

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-orintated Hygiene Operative to join our food production team. The success full candidate will be resonsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the factory to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company procedures.

The role is essential in supporting food safety, preventing contamination and ensuring a clean working environment within the production facility.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1:
Monday
- Friday 6am-2pm

Week 2:
Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am

Week 3:
Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

Possibility of temp to perm after 12 weeks

Overtime will be available

Key Responsibilites:

Clean and sanitise production lines, machinery and factory equipment
Maintain hygiene standards in production areas, storage areas and staff facilities
Follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safety and correctly.
Complete hygiene documentation and cleaing schedules
Assist with deep cleaning tasks during shutdown periods or night shifts
Report any maintenance issues, contamination risks, or hygiene concerns to supervisors
ENsure compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times
Requirements:

Previous experience in food production, factroy cleaning or hygiene roles is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and committment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks
Flexibility to work shifts, including evening & nights.
