Production Operator

Overview

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Production Support Operator at a leading international manufacturing plant in Felling, Gateshead. This full‑time position (38 hours per week) is temporary and offers a supportive work environment that challenges and develops your skills.

• Day shifts – Monday to Thursday: 6am‑2pm or 2pm‑10pm;
  Friday: 6am‑12pm or 2pm‑6pm.
• Night shifts – Sunday: 12 midnight‑6am;
  Monday‑Friday: 10pm‑6am (Friday finish).
• Day rate: £12.71 per hour + £98.85 weekly shift allowance.
• Night rate: £12.71 per hour + £197.72 weekly shift allowance.

• Take ownership of your safety and that of your colleagues.
• Follow HSE rules and procedures diligently.
• Ensure the quality of our products is upheld at every stage of the manufacturing process.
• Understand and apply systems and procedures effectively, using the escalation process when necessary.
• Operate Forklift Trucks (FLTs) for loading and unloading vehicles.
• Challenge yourself and strive for personal performance improvement.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the business’s operational needs.
