Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their established team in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire. Salary- £56,000 Shifts- 4 on 4 off days and nights

Benefits: 29 days holiday including Bank holidays bonus scheme Up to 10% company pension Overtime available Duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will include:
Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown Complete timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service. Identify any spare part requirements Diagnosing breakdown problems Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site. We are keen to speak with Mechanical Maintenance Engineers who possess the following:
Mechanically qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Ideally apprentice trained Have experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment- ideally heavy industry

Experience with PPM’s and breakdowns A sound working knowledge of modern pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components.
