Factory Laborer

KES Solutions are recruiting for a Factory Laborer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Birtley.

This is a hands-on role working both indoors and outdoors within a busy manufacturing environment. Due to the nature of the position, you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and carrying out physical duties throughout the shift.

Duties will include:

* Cleaning production containers using industrial cleaning products

* Using industrial solvents safely and correctly

* Manual handling of materials and equipment

* Working independently and as part of a team

* Moving materials around the site using a forklift truck (where authorised)

* Assisting other departments as required

* Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe

* Following all health and safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate :

* Previous experience in a manufacturing, factory or labouring environment is preferred

* Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties

* Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

* Reliable with a good work ethic

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* A valid Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential
