Production Operative

The Role

As a Manufacturing Operative, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating machinery and production equipment safely and effectively.

* Loading and unloading materials using appropriate handling methods.

* Assisting with heavy processing and manufacturing operations.

* Carrying out quality inspections and reporting any defects.

* Following production schedules and work instructions.

* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.

* Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.

* Recording production data and completing relevant documentation accurately.

* Working collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.

Requirements

* Previous manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial experience is desirable.

* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Ability to follow instructions and work procedures accurately.

* Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

* Flexible approach to shift work where required.

* Forklift, overhead crane, or machine operating experience would be advantageous, but is not essential as training may be provided.
