Senior Surveyor, Property Services – Grade K

Grade K SCP 34 – 37 (£45,091 - £48,226) + an additional temporary Recruitment & Retention Allowance 10% (£4,509.10 - £4,822.60)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Senior Surveyor to join our Property Services Team. The role involves working on either the property management team or the acquisitions and disposals team dealing with disposals, acquisitions, valuation, rent reviews, lettings and all other matters associated with the management of the Council’s commercial property portfolio.

You will need a good technical knowledge and extensive experience of commercial property management, including landlord and tenant relationships. Good IT skills, strong presentation and negotiation skills, the ability to work as part of a team, self‑motivation and the capacity to handle a constantly challenging workload are essential.

Qualifications:

hold a relevant degree or similar qualification. We welcome applicants who are RICS qualified or imminently sitting their APC. A valid driving licence, access to a car or means of mobility support is required.

• Proven experience of property management and/or acquiring, disposing of land and property, and valuation.

• Degree or master’s qualification in an appropriate property‑related subject.
• Member of the RICS or working imminently towards membership.
• Current driving licence, access to a car or means of mobility support.
