Property Services Manager; Technical

Work Pattern: Mon – Fri, 37 hour per week

PAYE Pay Rate: £29.18 per hour

To lead the Council’s property services, providing advice and management across property valuation, acquisitions, disposals, asset management and non-operational property.

• Lead and manage a professional property team.
• Oversee valuations, acquisitions and disposals.
• Manage the Council’s non-operational property portfolio.
• Support the Council’s Asset Management Strategy.
• Provide property and real estate advice.
• Manage budgets, performance and projects.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement.

• RICS qualified or working towards RICS membership.
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in property valuation, acquisition, disposal and management.
• Experience managing a non-operational property portfolio.
• Experience leading professional/technical teams.
• Knowledge of relevant property legislation.
• Full driving license or access to mobility support.

• Local Authority property experience.
• Knowledge of Local Authority valuation processes.
• Management qualification.
