Internal Sales Executive – Industrial Electrical

One of the UK’s leading industrial electrical wholesalers is looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join its successful Gateshead branch. You’ll be joining a well-established group employing over 4,000 people across hundreds of UK locations, with an annual turnover of more than £1.7 billion. As an Internal Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting existing customers while helping to grow the branch’s sales. You will:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Deliver outstanding customer service over the phone, by email and on the trade counter
• Advise customers on the best products and solutions for their requirements
• Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up on enquiries
• Represent the business in a professional and confident manner

• £32,000 – £36,000 starting salary

We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships and providing excellent customer service. You’ll ideally have:

• Sales experience within industrial electrical wholesale, or a background in industrial or electrical products with a strong commercial mindset
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach and confident telephone manner
• The ability to learn quickly and thrive in a busy environment
