Your Role

Every day is different, but you will:

  • Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care
  • Build positive relationships and encourage healthy routines
  • Prepare meals, support education, and develop life skills
  • Advocate for young people and ensure their voices are heard
  • Support medical appointments and community activities
  • Transport young people using your own vehicle when required
  • Help them move confidently towards independence

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience
  • Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

An NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

What You'll Receive

Competitive Pay

  • £17.50-£24.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
  • £20.00-£28.00 per hour Umbrella
