What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children, young people, and families to identify safeguarding concerns and assess levels of risk.
- Develop, implement, and review child-centred plans that promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, police, and other professionals, to coordinate effective support and safeguarding interventions.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and mentoring to less experienced social workers, supporting high standards of practice.
- Manage complex safeguarding cases, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities, legislation, and local procedures.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records, assessments, and reports in line with organisational policies and professional standards.
