What you will do:
  • Conduct thorough assessments within the safeguarding and assessment team to ensure the well-being of children and young adults
  • Collaborate with social services and other agencies to plan and implement effective safeguarding strategies
  • Provide expert guidance and support to social workers, helping them understand complex family dynamics and risk factors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to‑date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational guidelines
  • Engage effectively with families, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in every decision
  • Lead and participate in case conferences and strategy discussions, contributing your expertise to create positive outcomes
Requirements for the Advanced Practitioner:
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in social work
  • Hold a current Social Work England registration
  • Have substantial frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role
