Key Responsibilities- Provide safe transportation for residents and hospital patients to medical appointments and other designated destinations.
- Assist in executing both group and individual activities as planned by the Activities and Transportation Coordinator.
- Foster resident engagement by encouraging participation in various social and recreational activities.
- Maintain and update the Transportation Calendar with all scheduled appointments and gather/distribute resident mail.
- Observe and report any significant changes in resident attendance, mood, or involvement to nursing staff.
This position is part-time, with hours varying based on scheduled activities, including potential work on weekends and holidays.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent;
Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification preferred. - Current CPR certification and a clean driving record.
- Proficient in computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Physical capability to assist residents, including lifting items up to 35 pounds and pushing wheelchairs.
