CPA, Tax & Accounting – Full Time, Permanent

Remote‑first | GTA (Canada)

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 CAD

We’re a fast‑growing, modern firm looking for an experienced CPA professional to join our remote‑first team. If you enjoy working closely with owner‑managed businesses, value autonomy, and want a clear path to leadership, this role was built for you.

• Own client relationships and deliver high‑quality accounting and tax services to small and mid‑sized businesses.
• Manage and execute compilation engagements.
• Prepare and review Corporate (T2) and Personal (T1) tax returns.
• Provide practical tax planning and accounting advice to business owners.
• Partner closely with the team to improve workflows, systems, and efficiency.

• Active Canadian CPA designation

• 3+ years experience at a small or mid‑sized accounting firm.
• Strong experience with owner‑managed businesses.
• Solid technical foundation in compilations, corporate tax, and personal tax.

• Clear communicator – clients trust you, teammates enjoy working with you.
• Organized & efficient – you manage multiple files without sacrificing quality.
• Self‑starter – comfortable working independently in a remote, high‑trust environment.
• Tech‑savvy – strong QBO knowledge; interested in automations and better workflows.
• AI‑curious – you actively learn and adapt as tools evolve.
• Team‑oriented – you take ownership and step in when needed.
• Experience with CCH iFirm and Financial Cents is a strong asset.
