As the Senior Accountant for Consolidations, you will report to the Consolidations Manager and manage the monthly closing processes that impact both Brookfield Asset Management and Brookfield Corporation. You’ll prepare schedules vital for disclosures, engage in detailed financial analysis, and oversee SOX compliance as you coordinate efforts with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly consolidation and financial closing procedures

• Prepare disclosures and management report schedules

• Analyze quarterly reports for accuracy from portfolio companies

• Ensure SOX compliance through internal control documentation

• Conduct intercompany reconciliations across Brookfield

Requirements:

• CPA Canada or CPA US designation is required

• 3-5 years of experience with public accounting

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems

• Understanding of IFRS and accounting software like One Stream

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
