Financial Controller

Position: Financial Controller at Qeen Biotechnologies
Qeen Biotechnologies seeks a Financial Controller to enhance financial operations within a biomanufacturing startup. This onsite role combines accounting tasks with strategic oversight for business growth.

As a Financial Controller at Qeen Biotechnologies, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure precise financial reporting and internal controls. You’ll work with executive leaders to support financial planning and drive efficiencies within the company. Your proactive approach will significantly impact the firm’s financial health and long-term strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting tasks and general ledger activities

• Prepare financial statements and reports monthly and annually

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

• Develop and implement financial controls and accounting policies

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA designation or actively pursuing it preferred

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
