Senior Accounting Manager IFRS US GAAP

Lead accounting teams at Brookfield Renewable using IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and financial controls while working on-site at least four days weekly.

Reporting to the Director, Accounting, this Senior Manager provides hands-on leadership across complex accounting portfolios. The role connects strategy with execution through close discipline, reporting quality, and transformation initiatives. Success requires technical accounting judgment, business partnership, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Lead controllership for assigned portfolios and financial results
• Review complex accounting matters under IFRS and U.S. GAAP
• Coordinate audits, SOX compliance, and control remediation
• Advise leaders on risks, issues, dependencies, and actions
• Implement scalable processes, controls, and finance automation

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Leadership experience in complex or matrixed organizations
• Knowledge of close processes, controls, and operational accounting
• Experience leading multi-entity month-end and year-end closes
• Experience supporting audits, reporting, and transformation initiatives
