Senior Accounting Manager IFRS US GAAP

Lead accounting teams at Brookfield Renewable using IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and financial controls while working on-site at least four days weekly.
Reporting to the Director, Accounting, this Senior Manager provides hands-on leadership across complex accounting portfolios. The role connects strategy with execution through close discipline, reporting quality, and transformation initiatives. Success requires technical accounting judgment, business partnership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead controllership for assigned portfolios and financial results
Review complex accounting matters under IFRS and U.S. GAAP
Coordinate audits, SOX compliance, and control remediation
Advise leaders on risks, issues, dependencies, and actions
Implement scalable processes, controls, and finance automation
Requirements:
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Leadership experience in complex or matrixed organizations
Knowledge of close processes, controls, and operational accounting
Experience leading multi-entity month-end and year-end closes
Experience supporting audits, reporting, and transformation initiatives
Bring technical accounting leadership, financial reporting discipline, and process improvement expertise to Brookfield Renewable’s accounting function.
