Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist Brookfield Renewable
Process invoices and weekly payments at Brookfield Renewable, using Basware and ERP systems in an on-site position requiring four days weekly.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this specialist processes invoices, expense claims, and payments. The work includes invoice matching, supplier communication, payment issue resolution, and policy compliance.

Experience with accounts payable, accounting, purchasing, and business processes supports this work.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor workflow invoices and enter accurate ERP data
Match invoices with receipts and purchase orders
Prepare Basware invoices and verify expense claims
Prepare weekly Wire, EFT/ACH, V-Card, and cheque payments
Resolve invoice disputes, billing issues, and payment failures
Requirements:
Minimum two years of accounts payable or receivable experience preferred
Previous office experience and accounting understanding considered
ERP experience, including IFS, D365, Medius, or Basware
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong written, oral, problem-solving, and judgment skills
Support accurate accounts payable operations through invoice processing, supplier communication, payment preparation, and ERP expertise at Brookfield Renewable.
