As a Business Analyst and Project Coordinator
, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying system needs, and spearheading various IT projects. This role involves working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and improvement of business processes, systems, and IT solutions at Groupe Nordik. Your contributions will ensure that our systems and projects are continuously optimized, leading to better service delivery both for our internal teams and customers.
Key objectives of the role are:
Lead user discovery process on a variety of business and system needs. Documenting the effort.Prepared change requests and draft project charters as a result of the discovery process.Manage the introduction, trial and launch of new features and services by working closely with internal stakeholders; supporting all aspects of the business in integrating this within current working practices.Assisting with viewing, improving and redesigning business processes & Systems company wide.Build and continually develop relationships with key suppliers to increase operational capability of the enterprise to deliver on its business strategy.Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis:
Identify business and system needs: Work with key stakeholders across departments to analyze business requirements, identify user needs, and evaluate business processes.Document business requirements: Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy.Facilitate discovery workshops: Lead workshops and meetings to collect input, gain buy-in, and define project deliverables.Define and optimize business processes: Continuously evaluate and improve business processes, systems, and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.Support business improvements: Champion business improvement initiatives by translating business requirements into actionable tasks and working with cross-functional teams to implement changes.Assist in project planning: Help define project requirements, establish milestones, and form project teams to ensure successful project completion.2. Project Coordination:
Manage IT projects: Coordinate the introduction, trial, and launch of new IT systems and features, ensuring smooth integration within existing practices.Oversee project progress: Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring they are met on time and within budget. Provide regular updates to stakeholders.Monitor project risks: Identify and manage risks to project timelines and quality, and take corrective actions as necessary.Create and maintain project documentation: Develop and maintain project schedules, reports, and progress updates, ensuring clear communication across all teams.Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with IT teams, business leaders, and other departments to ensure that business requirements are translated effectively into IT solutions.3. Supplier Relationships:
Manage vendor relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers to enhance operational capabilities.Monitor supplier performance: Collaborate with suppliers to track the effectiveness of their services and identify opportunities for improvement.Industry involvement: Represent Groupe Nordik at industry events and ensure that the IT department stays aligned with emerging trends and innovations.4. Business Systems & Process Improvement:
Analyze current systems: Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend system upgrades or changes.Design system features: Help design and document new system features, workflows, and protocols to address business needs and improve service delivery.Assist in project implementation: Support the design, planning, and execution of IT projects, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver results.Support system training and user documentation: Develop…
