Convoy Tapered Drafter Contract Position

In this role as Tapered Insulation Drafter, you will play a crucial part in developing shop drawings that meet rigorous construction standards. Collaborate closely with estimators and project managers to ensure designs are accurate and complete, while also managing multiple requests effectively to meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft detailed tapered insulation layouts using CAD

• Review and refine designs from estimators

• Interpret architectural specifications for accuracy

• Produce high-quality shop drawings for installation

• Manage drawing updates based on feedback and changes

Requirements:

• At least 2 years drafting within roofing or construction

• Solid AutoCAD proficiency with 1-2 years of usage

• Capability to read and interpret architectural documentation

• Familiarity with commercial roofing systems is a plus

• Strong time management and communication abilities
