In this essential position, you will help handicapped students participate in school activities effectively. Your responsibilities will include aiding students during transitions, assisting with personal hygiene, and ensuring their safety and comfort. Additionally, you'll collaborate with teachers to deliver meaningful educational support tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in moving safely between locations
• Help with personal hygiene and meal times
• Support basic educational concepts and materials
• Observe student behaviors and communicate needs to staff
• Supervise students during breaks and activities
Requirements:
• Diploma in Assistance in Health Care Facilities or equivalent
• One year of relevant experience
• First aid certification within last three years
• Knowledge of basic psychology and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage student behaviors effectively
