• Product firmware testing and documentation, including detailed test reports
• Construction of electronic prototypes and initial testing of assemblies
• Act as the point of contact with manufacturing partners on technical and manufacturing issues
• Creating and maintaining production support documentation such as bills of materials, schematics, printed circuit board files, assembly instructions, testing instructions, labeling documentation and files, troubleshooting instructions, engineering component specifications, product engineering process files, engineering change requests, and software documentation
• Implementing engineering change requests into existing designs
• Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality engineers on process design for new products
• Perform root cause failure analysis of returned products and recommend design changes to improve reliability
• Interface with customers to resolve technical field issues and questions

• A technician or technologist diploma in electrical or electronics engineering
• 1–3 years of related experience
• Deep understanding of electrical and electronic concepts including analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits
• Positive and optimistic personality
• Ability to successfully multi-task and change focus frequently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to learn and work independently in a close-knit team environment
• Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
• Commitment to delivering service that exceeds customers’ expectations
• Knowledge of microcontroller firmware would be an asset
