Your Impact
Lead mechanical engineering work streams across industrial projects, ensuring alignment with scope, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Manage project schedules, budgets, resourcing, and risk logs for mechanical packages.
Oversee coordination between engineering disciplines, operations, construction partners, and industrial clients.
Deliver mechanical design packages (HVAC industrial, rotating equipment, piping, process utilities, material‑handling systems).
Conduct technical reviews, validate calculations, and endorse design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure safety, operability, and maintainability requirements are integrated into engineering solutions for industrial facilities.
Facilitate project meetings, progress reporting, and technical documentation for internal and client stakeholders.
Support commissioning plans and resolve issues during construction and start‑up.
The Skills That Set You Apart
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and eligibility for P.Eng.
10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in industrial sectors; such as pulp & paper, mining, manufacturing, process industries, food & beverage, heavy industry, or energy.
Demonstrated experience managing engineering deliverables, multidisciplinary coordination, and industrial project execution.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, mechanical modeling tools, and project‑management platforms.
Strong understanding of industrial codes and standards (ASME, CSA, ANSI, NFPA).
Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and guide engineering teams.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 – $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $76,300 – $102,800
