Job Description Join BPA as the Director of Structural Engineering in Gatineau, playing a pivotal role in overseeing structural design and engineering excellence. In your capacity as the Building Structure Director, you will manage structural engineering operations, ensuring that projects are technically sound and adhere to established budgets and schedules.

This strategic role involves mentoring your engineering team and participating in business development initiatives across the Gatineau and Outaouais regions. Ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and compliance with standards throughout all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the structural engineering team
* Verify structural calculations and design integrity
* Manage cross-discipline coordination for projects
* Ensure adherence to the Québec Building Code
* Supervise technical documents, specifications, and costing Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar
* OIQ membership required
* 10-15 years of relevant engineering experience
* Skilled in design software like SAP
2000 and ADA
