Internship in Generation Asset Management

Join Brookfield Renewable as an Intern in Gatineau, Quebec, and explore the dynamics of renewable energy asset management. This role is tailored for engineering students eager to gain hands-on experience.

Reporting to the Hydrology and Hydraulics Manager, you will assess the performance of assets such as wind, solar, and hydro. Support tools that improve planning and resource management while gaining insight into climate change impacts on energy production. This co-op opportunity lasts 12-16 months, starting in Fall 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess capabilities and opportunities for energy assets

• Assist with optimization of management processes

• Prepare data relating to renewable asset performance

• Analyze market and resource risks

• Monitor asset data and forecast power generation

Requirements:

• Enrolled full-time in an Engineering program

• At least two years of university completed

• Excellent communication, written and spoken

• High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Familiarity with resource modeling techniques
