Position: Safety Engineer for Railway Systems
IKOS is seeking a talented Safety Engineer in Canada to enhance railway safety. Engage in vital safety analyses and ensure compliance with railway standards in this pivotal role.

As a Safety Engineer with IKOS, you will apply your expertise in RAMS engineering and system safety to our promising railway projects across Canada. You'll conduct various safety analyses—such as HAZID, FTA, and FMEA—and oversee safety assurance processes, ensuring consistency with project requirements. This position offers opportunities to collaborate on high-impact projects aimed at ecological and transportation innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct reliability and safety analyses for railway systems

• Perform HAZID, HRA, FTA, FMEA, and other safety assessments

• Establish and document the safety assurance process

• Define and verify safety requirements consistently

• Support RAMS testing and validation activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering

• Proven experience in railway system safety and RAMS engineering

• Strong knowledge of CENELEC safety standards

• Proficiency in RAMS tools and methodologies

• Detail-oriented and bilingual skills desirable
