Join the Engineering Services group in North York as an Electrical Engineer specializing in Airfield Lighting. Leverage your expertise in electrical systems design and construction for aviation projects.
In this full-time, permanent role, you will provide essential guidance in electrical systems from planning through delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring compliance with codes, conducting reviews, and offering insights during construction phases. You'll collaborate with various disciplines to integrate electrical systems into projects, all while mentoring team members and managing documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on electrical systems design and construction
• Conduct compliance reviews for renovations and new builds
• Provide expert field inspections during construction stages
• Review contractor deliverables for codes and standards compliance
• Support electrical systems engineering governance documentation
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with aviation focus
• P. Eng registration or eligibility
• 6 years in design and commissioning of electrical systems
• Knowledge of airfield lighting and safety design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
365 and AutoCAD
