As part of the Physical Sciences Laboratories, you will engage in R&D efforts supporting national security systems. This full-time position encompasses conducting experiments, analyzing battery data, and supporting future spacecraft battery technologies. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver impactful findings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support R&D projects on energy storage technologies
• Analyze performance and failure modes of battery systems
• Collaborate on experiments and technical assessments
• Document and communicate findings to internal and external teams
• Contribute to future battery technology roadmaps
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, or relevant STEM field
• Up to 1 year of relevant industry experience
• Familiarity with battery testing and evaluation methods
• Strong foundation in electrochemical principles
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
