As a Piping Stress Engineer, you'll provide critical technical support by preparing complex calculations, specifications, and system designs.
Your role involves evaluating piping systems, performing analysis, and developing solutions for issues such as vibration and thermal effects.
You'll work with minimal supervision while ensuring project timelines and budgets are met through effective communication and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed calculations for piping stress evaluations
• Review and document system designs under guidance
• Create design input for P&IDs and Master Diagrams
• Develop specifications for balance of plant equipment
• Communicate effectively with vendors and project teams
Requirements:
• BS or MS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B&PV codes
• Strong skills in communication and technical writing
• Familiarity with AutoPIPE or similar software
Utilize your piping engineering skills to contribute to Sargent & Lundy's innovative projects and initiatives.
