Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools.

Base pay rangeCA $80.00/hr - CA $100.00/hr
Responsibilities- Analysis and design of structures, including concrete, steel and composite structures
- Prepare and review technical and building specifications, design criteria for civil structural engineering projects
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, and design reports
- Provide structural specifications for cranes, lifting devices and be familiar with their designs
- Develop and review technical specifications for concrete material and testing requirements
- Aging management and FMEA according to Canadian standards requirements
- Working with the following codes preferred: AISC N690, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ASCE 7, IBC, and, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
- Nuclear experience is highly preferred
- P. Eng. is mandatory
- Computer programming skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is preferred
- Autodesk Revit experience is an asset
