The Digital Solutions, Data, Information Management & Artificial Intelligence Bureau (ASD) within Global Affairs Canada enables Canada’s global presence by equipping diplomatic missions and partners with secure, integrated digital tools and high quality data. It drives departmental transformation by leading digital service delivery, data governance and artificial intelligence. The ASD division office is located at 200 Place du Portage, Gatineau QC.

As of January 13, 2025, Canadian citizenship is a requisite for obtaining Secret security clearance at Global Affairs Canada. Permanent residents are welcome to participate in this staffing process. However, since Secret security clearance is a condition of employment for this(ese) position(s), they will not be eligible for appointment unless they become Canadian citizens.
