Join our Gatineau team as a Data Center Technician, where you will work full-time in office to support vital infrastructure in a top-tier data center setting. In this role, you will be tasked with utilizing your three or more years of data center operations experience. Focus on key responsibilities including the installation of server and network equipment, structured cabling, and hardware deployments.
You’ll be collaborating with engineering and operations teams, while also ensuring accurate asset documentation and responding to equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee installation and maintenance of network systems
- Execute structured cabling (copper, fiber optic)
- Monitor systems for power, cooling, and security issues
- Respond promptly to incidents and perform troubleshooting
- Assist in system upgrades and capacity planning
- 3+ years in data center operations
- Solid skills in cabling (Cat6, fiber)
- Exceptional problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in documentation and communication
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs)
