Position: Project /Program Manager – Banking & Financial Services

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project / Program Manager with strong experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain to manage end-to-end delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects/programs from initiation through implementation and closure.
  • Define scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, resources, and budgets.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and overall delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business, Technology, QA, Operations, and Vendors.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, governance meetings, and executive status reporting.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Drive Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Manage UAT, implementation, production rollout, and post-production activities.
  • Ensure compliance with banking, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage third-party vendors and ensure timely delivery of agreed commitments.
Banking Domain Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Core Banking / Digital Banking
  • Payments / Cards
  • Lending / Loan Origination
  • Banking APIs / Integrations
  • Data Migration / Regulatory Reporting
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of overall project/program management experience, preferably within Banking/Financial Services.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional technology programs.
  • Strong stakeholder, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project
    , or similar.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams, vendors, risks, and dependencies.
Preferred Certifications

PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe or relevant banking certifications.
