Global Mission of the positionUnder the supervision of the Procurement Specialist, the Inventory Control, Receiving & Shipping Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, and controlling inventory of materials, supplies, parts, and equipment used in lumber mill operations.

Receive, inspect, document, and store incoming materials and supplies
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and audits
Monitor stock levels and investigate inventory discrepancies
Support purchasing activities and provide backup procurement coverage
Organize warehouse operations and safely operate material-handling equipment
Coordinate shipping, repairs, warranty returns, and vendor communications
Track fuel usage and generate weekly/monthly reports
Follow up on outstanding supplier orders and reorders
Performs other duties as assigned to be deemed in the best interest of the organization.

High school diploma or GED.
2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stores management, receiving, or procurement support.
Experience using ERP, CMMS, or inventory management systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Ability to operate an electric pallet jack
Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing, forestry, sawmill, lumber, or industrial environments.
