Copper Flotation Area Operator Position

As a Flotation Area Operator, you'll ensure the safe and efficient operation of copper and zinc circuits within the Mill Processing Plant. You'll monitor critical operational parameters, work alongside engineers to enhance flotation performance, and maintain a culture of safety and environmental stewardship during a 14/14 work rotation. The role is essential to achieving recovery and concentrate quality goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor flotation cells and pump operations regularly
• Adjust process parameters to optimize performance
• Coordinate safe start-ups and shutdowns
• Provide assistance to the Met Lab with sampling
• Maintain accurate operational documentation
Requirements:
• Technical diploma in relevant field preferred
• 4+ years of milling experience, ideally in mining
• At least 1 year in a flotation role required
• Familiarity with DCS and HMIs necessary
• Strong problem-solving and safety knowledge
