Pet Food Sanitation Manager Position

Join Mars in Bolton, Ontario, as a Sanitation Manager within the Pet Nutrition division. This role is pivotal in ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards in manufacturing.

In this position, you will manage all aspects of sanitation processes in the pet food facility. With 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, especially in food production environments, you will oversee the sanitation team and drive improvements in hygiene standards. Leading efforts in sanitation efficiency will be key to supporting overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain sanitation programs for production equipment

• Keep detailed records of cleaning activities and compliance

• Supervise the proper use of chemicals and PPE

• Promote safety practices within the sanitation team

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, or relevant field

• 5-8 years in sanitation management in food manufacturing

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role

• Understanding of cleaning validation and risk management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and sanitation management software
