Full-time Daytime Permanent
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 5pm
Friday: 7:30am to 12pm
Summer Friday afternoons off!
$22 to $36 per hour, based on skills and experience.
- Work clothes provided, including a pair of boots every year
- Welding and polishing equipment provided
- Height-adjustable welding table for an ergonomic setup
Reporting to the production team, you perform precision welding on gauge-16-and-under sheet metal, in steel and stainless steel.
Your day-to-day tasks:- TIG and MIG welding according to plans
- MIG flux-core (FCAW) welding as needed
- Working thin sheet metal with precision and attention to detail
- Reading plans, preparing and fitting parts before welding
- Visually inspecting welds and making corrections
TIG and/or MIG proficiency (flux-core, an asset). Autonomy, resourcefulness and attention to detail. Your own basic tool set.
No diploma required. Your skill and precision are what count!
