This role at Conestoga Meats involves being part of a supportive team in one of Canada’s largest pork processing plants. You will be engaged in several essential operations, including cutting, packaging, and quality inspection of pork products. With an emphasis on internal promotions, we encourage your growth into specialized positions, enhancing your skills with hands-on training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate machinery and handle raw materials
• Measure and prepare ingredients for processing
• Clean and maintain production areas and equipment
• Pack finished products for distribution
• Assist with inventory checks and sorting tasks
Requirements:
• 1 month to 7 months experience in a relevant field
• Physical capability to lift and transport heavy items
• Focus on safety and quality standards
• Basic English communication abilities
• Successful completion of a Functional Work Simulation Assessment
