As a Public Health Nurse, you will work independently within the Public Health Services team, implementing public health policies and standards. With over three years of public health experience, you'll utilize your nursing knowledge to perform assessments, counsel patients, and collaborate with various health personnel. This role emphasizes health promotion and prevention, making a difference in community health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care adhering to The Public Health Act
• Conduct health assessments and facilitate patient counseling
• Implement health promotion initiatives within the community
• Liaise with health personnel and community groups
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required
• Minimum three years as a Public Health Nurse
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) needed
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential
