Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Palliative Care for Hilltop House, a long-term care facility. This position requires a commitment to assessing and managing the needs of clients with life-threatening illnesses, both independently and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You will focus on quality symptom management and support for clients, families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for palliative patients in various settings

• Assess physiological and psychological needs of clients

• Facilitate goals of care conversations with patients

• Implement plans based on individual care needs

• Document care accurately per organizational standards

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with BCCNM

• Minimum 2 years in acute medical-surgical care

• Palliative care experience preferred

• Knowledge of symptom management practices

• Skills in critical care assessment and documentation
