Specialty Infusion Nurse (RPN) Role

In this role, you will administer specialty medications while conducting thorough assessments and providing education to patients and caregivers about their treatment options. Your ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team will be crucial in delivering holistic patient care and adhering to nursing protocols. This position also entails regular travel to various clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer specialty biologic therapies as per protocols

• Monitor patient comfort during and after infusions

• Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing assessments

• Provide patient education on medications and care

• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario

• Minimum 2-3 years in clinical nursing; infusion experience preferred

• Up-to-date BLS certification; ACLS certification an asset

• Skilled in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
