As a Visit Nurse, you will deliver a range of clinical services, including palliative and pediatric care, within client homes and community sites. Your expertise will guide care decisions while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient well-being. This role will offer valuable experience while fostering strong community relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care in varied locations, including homes and clinics
• Administer medications and perform health teaching
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide mentorship and accessibility to managers for support
• Guide clients to appropriate health resources for their needs
Requirements:
• Must be registered and in good standing with Ontario's nursing college
• Conduct a Clear Criminal Record Check before employment
• Possess a reliable, insured vehicle for travel
• Have valid Professional Liability Insurance
• Availability for on-call duties rotating every third weekend
