Temporary Part-Time Nurse at Middlesex Hospital

Join the Middlesex Hospital Alliance as a temporary part-time Registered Practical Nurse in the ACTIVE CARE NURSING UNIT. This role involves delivering patient care across various shifts, including nights, weekends, and call-ins.

This position is expected to last for about one year, requiring at least 2–3 years of nursing experience, particularly in medical and emergency care. Candidates should also possess current BCLS certification and be able to demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered nursing care during shifts

• Ensure accurate documentation and patient assessments

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Documentation of COVID-19 vaccinations and TB testing

• 2–3 years of relevant nursing experience

• Prior experience with Triage and ECG monitoring preferred

• Advanced proficiency with computer applications
