Humber River Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Acute Medicine Unit, 12 West. This permanent, part-time position involves critical nursing responsibilities and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will utilize computerized systems for documentation and mentor nursing students while assisting in care planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general medicine care for inpatients
• Coordinate care with healthcare professionals
• Utilize computerized patient care documentation
• Participate in hospital committees and project teams
• Mentor new hires and nursing students
Requirements:
• RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS certification
• Minimum 2 years medical/surgical experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Excellent patient assessment and organizational skills
