Part Time Registered Practical Nurse Ontario

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will report directly to the Director of Care and play a crucial role in supporting resident well-being. Your responsibilities will include executing care plans, monitoring health conditions, and organizing healthcare activities. Upholding nursing standards and ensuring compliance with regulations is essential for this part-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards

• Develop and evaluate resident care plans effectively

• Monitor health conditions and initiate appropriate actions

• Supervise nursing and personal care staff assignments

• Train new personnel and manage performance appraisals

Requirements:

• Valid certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Registered or eligible for the Registered Practical Nurses Association

• Current First Aid and BLS certificate required

• Knowledge of infection control practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
