In this position, you will promote and restore patient health by actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and providing the necessary support to patients and their families. Your availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential in this dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize patient care with problem-solving skills
• Act decisively during emergency Code Blue situations
• Communicate effectively with diverse patient and staff groups
• Monitor and evaluate patient behaviors and treatment outcomes
• Safely administer medications and conduct tests
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Diploma/degree from a recognized institution (BScN preferred)
• Relevant certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP
• At least two years in an acute care environment
• Proficiency in Cerner software systems
