CMN is hiring an innovative researcher to develop and lead collections-based studies in Botany. This permanent role offers the chance to publish impactful research, further the museum’s botanical collections, and engage the public. Collaboration with museum staff on outreach projects will enhance the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct systematics and taxonomy research on vascular plants
• Publish scholarly articles and research findings
• Engage with museum teams for public programming
• Promote research via diverse communication channels
• Organize fieldwork logistics and lead expeditions
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Botany or a related field
• Proven research experience in vascular plant studies
• Experience with herbarium and museum collections
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Collaborative skills with diverse groups essential
