Position Summary

Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. • Receiving and Unloading Merchandise:
  Prepare and reset the Receiving Area and unload general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
• Handle and Move Merchandise Safely:
  Maintain cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and Customer Support:
  Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock Organization:
  Label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment:
  Follow Company policies and procedures to keep a safe, clean, and hazard‑free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule):
  Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

• High Task Volume in a Fast‑Paced Environment:
  Manage overnight hours effectively, planning to stay energized and focused, and handle a fast‑paced workload efficiently with accurate restocking and recovery.
• Physical Demands:
  Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lb., and occasionally up to 50 lb.; perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency.
