Position: Outreach Counsellor for Families
Join Pathstone Mental Health as an Outreach Counsellor, providing evidence-based, in-home interventions to support families. Promote treatment readiness and enhance problem-solving and communication skills.

As a Counsellor – Outreach, you will work intensively with families, using proven practices to develop mutual goals that focus on behavior management and communication improvement. This position is a full-time role with flexible hours, accommodating after-hours appointments to suit family needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home and community interventions

• Assist families in developing communication strategies

• Facilitate behavior management techniques with youth

• Work collaboratively towards treatment readiness goals

• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions

Requirements:

• Social Service or Child and Youth Worker Certificate

• 2-3 years of experience with adolescents and families

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Current Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check

• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle

Deliver essential support and guidance to families through effective outreach and intervention practices.
